About The Event
Each member of the team runs, one at a time, and then “hands-off” to the next teammate at designated transfer stations, rotating through the entire team.
Each team has a van that holds all the members that are not running, travelling from one transfer station to the next.
For full teams of six runners, each runner runs three times throughout the day completing roughly 16.5 miles in total. Runners are expected to stay in the same sequence for the duration of the event. Exception: should a runner be incapacitated, then runners move up a slot.
Captains will fill out a team registration form, along with payment, to secure their entire team’s spot in the event. Click here for more information about how to register.
Starting at the Trapp Family Lodge (yes, those Von Trapps), the course covers 100 miles of scenic Route 100 from Stowe to Ludlow.
Along the way, runners will pass through the Breadloaf Wilderness, Killington Mountain Resort, and right by the Ben & Jerry’s Factory Store.
Runners will also encounter two of Vermont’s picturesque covered bridges, rolling fields, and majestic mountains before finishing at the Jackson Gore Mountain Resort at Okemo Mountain.See below for a full list of all 18 legs of the course.
